Securing an Ambitious and Just Outcome at COP26: Insights from Vulnerable Countries
As climate disasters like floods and wildfires increase in intensity, the most vulnerable countries are being hit the hardest and yet are taking the lead on climate ambition despite having the least resources to protect their citizens. At the same time, the failure of advanced economies and major emitters to fulfil their commitments to deliver financial support and curb emissions has eroded trust and solidarity among nations. Success at the COP26 this November hinges on restoring this trust and uniting the world by reaching consensus on a balanced, just, equitable and ambitious outcome.

Join Allied for Climate Transformation (ACT2025) for a webinar where speakers from around the world will lay out what COP26 must achieve to meet the needs of developing countries. ACT2025 partners will unveil an Alliance Statement that offers a united vision for success at COP26 – such as ambitious emissions cuts, climate finance, adaptation, loss & damage, and rules & architecture – and offers clarity on how these outcomes can be achieved.
